John Klamer, DDS
Originally from St. Louis, Dr. Klamer studied at the University of Missouri–Columbia, earned his DDS at the UMKC School of Dentistry (2017), and completed a General Practice Residency at Truman Medical Center–Lakewood. His continuing education focuses on oral surgery and implant dentistry — including implant surgery and wisdom tooth extractions. Away from the office, John and his wife Brianna welcomed their first baby girl last fall; he’s a passionate outdoorsman, and his two dogs — Cotter and Beau — sometimes hang out at the practice.
The people behind the practice
Bonnie Cates
Bonnie joined the practice in 2013. You will see Bonnie working in the office where she is needed. She has been in the dental field for 26 years. Bonnie’s goal is to have patients commit to their dental care for the overall health benefit. She gets to know each patient like family to help them achieve the smile they wish for. Most of her time away from the office is spent with her husband, Rodney. Her family is very important, especially her two granddaughters. She enjoys quilting, the outdoors, her flower garden, and sunshine!
Christina Baker
Christina joined our practice in 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience in dental hygiene. Providing compassionate, personalized care is very important to her, and she truly values the relationships and friendships she has built with her patients throughout the years. Outside the office Christina lives in Lawson with her husband, Wes. She enjoys spending time outdoors boating, fishing, and hiking, as well as traveling and making memories with her beautiful granddaughters. She is grateful for the opportunity to care for her patients and looks forward to continuing those relationships for years to come!

Kyli
Hello, I am Kyli! I’m married to my wonderful husband, and together we have a sweet little boy with another little one on the way. After spending time in Washington while my husband served in the military, we recently moved back home to Missouri to be closer to family. As a dental assistant, I love being able to help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental experience. I’m grateful to be part of a practice that treats patients like family, and I look forward to getting to know each person who walks through our doors!
